Frequently Asked Questions

Is Burger Fence a member of the Better Business Bureau?

Yes, as of February 2016, Burger Fence’s BBB rating was A+. That’s the highest rating a company can achieve! Most importantly, Burger Fence has no complaints on record for BBB’s three (3) year rating period. Think of it, Burger Fence has sold, installed and serviced hundreds of fences during that time and has not had a single complaint!

What types of payments does Burger Fence accept?

Burger Fence makes it easy to pay for your fence. All major credit cards, cash and bank financing accepted. Burger Fence can arrange long term bank financing or bank financing at ZERO percent interest for up to one year. That means your fence can be installed on a no-cash basis (except for special order materials).

Who installs a Burger Fence, does Burger Fence use Sub-Contractors?

Only Burger Fence employees install Burger Fences. Burger Fence does not, ever, use sub-contractors. So, if a problem arises as a result of your fence installation, you deal directly with Burger Fence. There is no middleman you have to deal with!

Are Burger Fence and its installers insured?

Absolutely, Burger Fence carries a Two Million Dollar ($2,000,000) general liability, One Million Dollar ($1,000,000) commercial vehicle and a One Million Dollar ($1,000,000) Workman’s Compensation polices.

What about permits and surveys? Will Burger Fence help me?

For sure! In most instances, you will need a zoning permit from your local municipality. Frequently, the municipality will require you to provide a survey and a detailed description of the fence you intend to erect. If your fence either is used to enclose a swimming pool or replacing a fence that was used as a pool barrier, then you will need both a zoning permit and a construction permit. We’re ready to assist you in applying for your permit.

What is pool code? Is Burger Fence familiar with what is required?

Yes, as a matter of fact, several prominent pool contractors use Burger Fence or recommend us to their customers. We know pool code regulations and guarantee our fence to pass pool code inspections.

Not sure where my property line is, can Burger Fence help?

Irregular property lines are not unusual, to prevent any encroachment issues, Burger Fence, at a nominal cost, can obtain the services of a CertifiedSurveyor to mark your property lines and guarantee correct placement of your fence. What’s more, if you do not have or cannot locate your survey, we can get one for you at nominal cost.

Does Burger Fence cement posts?

All vinyl, chain link and aluminum fence posts are encapsulated in cement. Average depth of hole is three (3) feet for vinyl, two (2) for chain link and aluminum. Extra cement is used for gateposts. Cement is not recommended for wood fencing in that the cement creates a void thereby hastening wood rot. However, it is absolutely necessary to use cement for wood gate posts.

When can Burger Fence install my fence?

It is vital not to install any type of fence into soaking wet ground. So, all installation dates are subject to “weather permitting.” Usually, except in the case of special order materials, your fence can be installed with 3-4 weeks after contract initiation. Of course, there can be exceptions due to emergency situations and availability of material and personnel.

What about underground public utilities and private sprinkler systems?

We won’t install your fence until all public utility lines have been marked out. However, don’t worry Burger Fence makes the arrangements for the mark out and accepts responsibility for any mishaps. We do insist that you mark all your sprinkler heads, the location of pipes and electrical connection of your sprinkler system to the house. This also applies to any and all private lines you have installed.
